This comes in very handy during a variety of different sexual activities that include the penis, a dildo, vagina or anus. The most common type of sexual intercourse that almost always requires a lubricant is anal sex. Anal sex usually refers to the insertion of an erect penis in the anal cavity for sexual pleasure, but some people fail to realize that the anus and rectum areas are not self lubricating.
If you do not know what you are doing and choose not to use a personal lubricant, then this sexual activity can be very painful. Anal sex is a very sensitive activity because that area of the body is incredibly delicate. It is very sensitive to any type of dry friction and the skin in that area can be torn very easily. This is why it is almost mandatory to use some type of personal lubricant or else you run the risk of causing your body some serious discomfort. Also, if you do experience a tear in your anus or rectum, be sure to see a doctor immediately because it can cause an infection if you do not take care of it.
Personal lubricants are unparalleled for any type of sexual activity you may be thinking about. So, next time you are considering trying something new with your partner be sure to visit your local store to pick up some lubricant.
