The reason this move is a powerhouse is because you start to walk away (showing that your not needy), you didn't ask for a number (you assumed her yes answer to your e-mail question implied that she would be open to talking again (shows confidence), you ask for e-mail, not a phone # (witch is low risk for her), then you ask for the number (she's giving you her e-mail already anyways.)
Ok so there are just two easy ways to walk away from a conversation with a girl's number! The first takes advantage of mentioning something fun to do first, then asking for her number. The second method lowers the risk for the women. Both methods are amazing in there subtly and effectiveness!
