In almost all parts of the world, a lot of people are so much inclined to taking care of pets. They even treat them as one of their most valued possessions or as member of their families. There are variety of choices in choosing a pet to own, but most common and most preferred are dogs. One good reason why it is better to take care of dogs is that they can easily understand and follow the commands of their own. If they are given proper dog training, they will be able to understand both sign and verbal commands. However, they most likely to learn signal commands rather than voice commands. Dogs are very particular on body language.

Since there is no official hand signals for a dog obedience training, the most common commands that dog owners practice are vocal commands such as sit, stay, down, come and heel. Through the use of hand signals, you can train your dog how to sit by using your arm. You do this by moving your hands towards your chest and while your palm is facing upward. This is very ideal if you are just inches away from your dog. Otherwise, you can also try to crab the collar of your dog and gently push his rear going to a sitting position. Training a dog how to heel is also quite easy. You can do this by using your arms. Move your arms in front of your dog going downward with extended palms. You can command your dog to stay put by extending you arm while your hands straight down and your palm in flat landing position to your dog s nose without getting any near contact. If then your dog tends to sniff your hand, stop him in a gentle way. If then you want your dog to lay on its stomach, open your hand flat while your palm is facing down just parallel to the floor and using your arms in a bent and downward position while doing a sweeping motion. Finally, train your dog you come to you by bending your elbow with outstretched arms and slowly move your arms towards you chest.

For a dog obedience training, it is best to combine hand and verbal commands to enhance your dog s knowledge. Soon after training, they will easily respond to both commands. Remember that if you want to impressed by your dogs capabilities, you must give them proper dog obedience training in such a way that they will have fun and learn at the same time. Giving rewards may give them inspiration each time they do a good work. And bear in mind to never ever physically punish your dog if they disobey your command. If your dog is successful in following basic hand signals in dog obedience training, then your dog is now ready for further training. You can enroll your dog in a more advanced dog training, yet you can also choose do it do on your own so as to promote a great bonding with your dog.
