The history of when human start to start to use earrings and the purpose of using it is still unclear, but we believe that there must be some reasons for people in ancient time for using earrings. However, for our modern world today, it is really obvious that the purpose of using earrings is mainly about body decoration. In the past, not long time ago, we may find that earrings only be used for women, in order for them to have benefit of the beauty. However, as today we can obviously see that it is not only for women but also for men, even though the purpose of use may be a bit different among them.
It is clear and obvious that women just use them for beauty. Women just have to find the ones that match to the dress and social needs, men while, it is quite become obvious recently that men may interest to use earring not mainly for the beauty but for some kind of social needs. As they may find it become interesting trends and fashion. And now we can see this trend have become increase very rapidly as we can see there are man types of earring (or even other type of rings that used with other part of the body)
However, even though it is quite clear that the purpose of men and women regarding using earring is different, but one thing that is very similar to both men and women is the design. As mentioned earlier that the purpose of use may be different, but the more important for them all is the design, that is, no matter what the earring will be used for, that have to chose the design that suit to their needs the most.
For women, the design of the earrings will be very common, we can see a lot of earrings designs now initiated by the designer and they all available in the market. But the purpose for them is only for beauty, then it is quite easy for them to choose the design. Although the design is important for them, but it seems that what happening at the moment is about the material that made earrings have become far more important than the design.
When a woman start to looking for a pair of earrings, what have to be taken into account are both design and the material. But we can see in the practical world is that what all females are looking for is the one that made from valuable materials, which will make them feel proud and be respected by the others. The desirable material may be not different than the one that made for other fashion decoration items like rings, necklace. The diamond earrings seem to be very attractive for them but the price will be the most important limitation. Therefore, the other alternative material such as artificial diamond or black/white pearls are more feasible for women to buy. However, not matter which design or the materials of the earring that they made from, the most important is that you have to consider what you can afford.
